The Largest Real Estate Congress for Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia

For a whole day this year’s Real Estate Central Germany was all about trends and developments in the Central German real estate market.

The well-founded kick-off panel “Bye, bye A-Cities: How Central Germany is mixing up the Real Estate Market” already provided for lively discussions among the panel participants. Torsten Kracht, Instone Real Estate Leipzig GmbH, advocated a realistic assessment of investments in the real estate market. According to Kracht, expropriations and a rent brake do not provide urgently needed additional living space.

In the early afternoon, projects that the industry talks about were presented. In my presentation on the revitalization of the Victoria quarter in Gotha, it was particularly important for me to emphasize how revitalization works and how it can save entire quarters from depreciation. Because:

“What a heart attack is in humans is vacancy in neighborhoods, especially in the visible part of shops.”

In my keynote, I described to the audience the challenges we faced in this quarter and how we were able to master them through our work and, above all, our corporate culture during such revitalizations.

If you would like to know more about the challenges of revitalizing this project or have any questions about my presentation, please feel free to contact me.

The whole day at the Real Estate Central Germany was marked by well-founded specialist knowledge, exciting panel discussions and valuable insights directly from the industry.
